Crye Precesion Drifire Combat Shirt Navy Type III/ Large Long
The Navy officially switched official uniform patterns from the Type I Navy Working Uniform to NWU II and III in 2019.
The pattern used for NWU III is the digital AOR-2 pattern, a woodland digital camouflage and is made for wear in woodland, jungle and temperate areas. The NWU III is intended for wearing ashore, in port and areas that do not require special clothing. It is currently worn by Navy SEALs and special warfare members.
The Navy switched from the NWU I to NWU II and NWU III because of duties aboard warships that require flame resistant protection for sailors.
DRIFIRE’s NWU III flame resistant uniform options are made to order and include NWU III combat pants and shirts, as well as field shirts and pants. These options are made with Crye Precision™ and DRIFIRE’s 5.5 Fortrex® proprietary fabric that provides sailors with inherent flame resistant protection, moisture wicking, fast drying comfort in a durable, lightweight uniform.
